THE STORY OF THE FONT D’EN TORRES FARMHOUSE
The Font d’En Torres farmhouse has a long history dating back to the 13th century when there was a leper colony in the cave of “Cagots” near the current farmhouse. It was inhabited until the end of the 12th century, when moved to Morella in the Heritage of “Santa Lucia”, at the hospital of “San Lázaro”. The story goes that in the house lived a community of religious who spiritually attended to residents of the area and celebrated mass in the chapel of “San Cristobal” on Sundays and holidays.
